Spartan Kids World Championship

  • Racer age must be 9 yrs old the day of the event. No exceptions.
  • Ages 9-14 are broken down into 2 age groups: 9-11 and 12-14, which are then broken down by male and female.

  • Age groups are determined by your age at the end (December 31) of the current year.

  • 14 yrs old is the maximum Kids racer age. At this time, the racer must choose between continuing in Kids competitive or joining the Adult competitive division. They may not compete in both and doing so may result in a full disqualification.

  • 2022 qualifying procedure takes into account difficulties in youth athlete travel with multiple qualifying options. To qualify to participate in the event, racers may qualify by:

    • 1 top 3 Podium finish at any Kids competitive heat in the qualifying year.
US and participating countries will acknowledge podiums beginning November 20, 2021.

    • In participating countries, accumulation of 15 points earned in top 10 finishes throughout the qualifying year. 2022 points accumulations will begin January of 2022 for countries actively timing Kids events (kids racers are running with a timing chip).

      • Points are accumulated in descending order: 1st place= 10 points, 2nd place = 9 points and so on, through 10th place.
    • Top 10 finish at a Regional Championship event, will be an automatic qualification.
Countries not yet participating in qualifying competitive events may submit individual qualifying events for review in order to participate and send representation.

    • Additional qualifying capability may be reviewed with special consideration by Spartan at any time.
