How does it work?
Once everyone is checked in, the men will be separated into one team and the ladies into another. The two teams will then go in different directions so that each team will not know what the other is doing.
How does a team win?
The teams will be subjected to a series of tests and challenges that they will not be warned about or given any time to prepare for. The team will be expected to work together quickly and effectively. Each of these challenges carries a number of points that can be won. Once these points are tallied, they are compared against the other team’s score. Whichever team has the most points will be declared the winners.
But men are naturally bigger and stronger. That’s unfair.
Yes, it would be unfair if physical strength was a factor. But at no point will this be the subject of points. The aspects tested will contain elements such as:
- Lateral thinking
- Adherence to the Warrior Ethos
But I’m not a very tall or strong Spartan racer. I don’t think I can do this.
You’re not listening. It’s not about strength. It’s not about anything other than teamwork. Can you work with others? That’s what will be tested.
What do the winning team get?
Bragging rights and their input into the ongoing series of the Battle Of The Sexes.
That is until the next rematch happens.
Have there been Battle Of The Sexes before?
Yes. The inaugural Battle Of The Sexes was held in Lake Tahoe, California on September 29th, 2018. The ladies won by a single point 27 vs 28.
When is the next one?
The rematch will be at the Las Vegas event on March 9th 2019.
