Notes:

  • At least THREE Mountain Series events must be completed for an athlete to be eligible for overall points and prize money (can be any three in the series). We’ll use your Best 3 to determine your standings.
  • The top FIVE athletes must be present at the final race in order to claim awards. Athletes need only to attend, not compete in the Final Race of the series, if they meet the requisite number of races and have adequate points from previous events.

Mountain Series Points:

  • All Mountain Series Events, in the Elite Wave, are worth 1.25x the standard Spartan Global Points Series value, when applied to the Global Elite Points Series (based on their distance).
  • Each Mountain Series race is worth 300 points for Elite and Age Group categories, as part of the Mountain Series only. This will allow Spartan to determine series specific winners in the Elite and Age Group categories. Please note, only ELITE categories have cash prizes.
