Athlinks: How to Claim your Points and Fix Your Profile

In order for your results to be properly tabulated into rankings for our Spartan Point Series, you will need to "claim" all your results through Athlinks and make sure all your relevant races are grouped under one Athlinks profile.

What does "claim" mean?  By clicking on the "claim" link next to your name in your Spartan Results, you will be directed to athlinks.com to claim your result from the event (along with any other races you may have completed but not yet claimed). Not only does this get your racing history all in one location, it also helps to link all of your results in the series right to you, making sure your points all add up correctly.

I had points, then I claimed them and they disappeared, why?  No worries, your points are still there. We just need to hit the recalculate button to update them, now that you associated them with your profile. Every result, whether claimed or not, has a "racer ID" attributed to it. When you claim yours, it then takes on your profile racer ID. So, we just need to recalculate and do so periodically. Claiming is a good practice because you want all those results linking to the one and only you.

Why are my points showing under two different places?  This can happen if you register under slightly different variations of your name (e.g. John and Jonathan) or have a hyphenated name (sometimes, the hyphen does not get included in the registration). One really quick way around this is to claim your result. That is the fastest way to get your points together and after we perform the recalculation you will be all set.  Or, you can let us know and we can get your information merged on our end. To make the process as streamlined as possible, we suggest trying to use the same variation of your name for all your race registrations.

When will the points be updated?  If there was an event over the weekend, you will typically see points updated to include that event by Wednesday of the following week. This allows time for any results updates after the event and provides cleaner data for the series, so points don't fluctuate.

Supposedly they're redoing the whole profile thing because I had issues too. They responded to an e-mail of mine a few weeks ago. Still upload everything in Athlinks at this point until they fix everything.

Thanks, that is the same reply I received from them also. After the Vermont Beast/Sprint weekend in September, the Spartan points season ended so all the other races people have done this year are going towards 2015 points.

I am trying to claim my points and it appears someone else has already claimed them and now I am unable to. Is there anything that can be done for this? I just created my athlinks acct

Everything is claimed and the correct races are on Athlinks. Yet, I am still missing the Vermont Beast and Sprint on the rankings.

    Greetings,

I see that my wife's race results for the Spartan Super in Sacramento which was run on November 7th are showing on the Athlinks web site, but mine are not. May I know who I should ask or how I would go about getting my results posted? She and I crossed the finish line at the same time.

    Name: Guillermo Forliano
    Bib #: 1501

Thanks in advance for your time and consideration.

We link for the pics is to a link to just Sparta more money in some type of way! The event was fun as all hell but the 45-50 min line you have to wait in after stretching befor the race and the website finding your results after really put a kink in the fun of it. That and the border patrol booth at the end of the race which is probably sponsored by Donald Trump it was probably one of the most racist fucked up things of Ever seen. And the free Coors light which was made From monsatos genetically modified hops and wheat which are not good to put in your body right after racing or ever . Nothing free about a beer that is going to come back and haunt you later on in life leaving you sick. Fuck the corporate greed that is surrounding this race !

    Greetings!

My name is Archie Bongcaron I recently did a spartan super at Diablo Grande 7/16/2016

I finished the race but i lost my chip probably at the multi rig without me noticing resulting in my finish time not being recorded. There's nothing for me to claim on the result page.

Is there any way to fix this?
